Bruce Peninsula Backpacking
This whole pandemic has created a bit of chaos in the outdoor world. Places I could usually go to get away from people are now packed. Campsites I could book a week in advance are now booked for the entire summer. I was lucky to get a permit for a single night at High Dump.
Bruce Peninsula National Park
It was calling for a clear night, so I booked another solo backpacking trip to the Bruce Peninsula National Park. I recently got a new filter system so I thought it would be a great opportunity to test out some longer exposures.
Stormhaven
Stormhaven has become a special place for me in Ontario! A place I can get away, set my thoughts straight, and breath in some fresh Canadian air. It’s also a remarkably beautiful place, with white limestone shores, and turquoise waters, it’s easy to forget you’re in Canada still (until jumping in the water that is).
A Quick Escape
I had the need and desire to escape everyday life. I needed some nature therapy. So I did what any self respecting nature enthusiast would do. I packed up some gear and headed north to the beautiful Bruce Peninsula National Park, where I hiked out to Stormhaven backcountry camping area. With camera in tow my aim was to relax, and create some landscape photographs to share.
