Algonquin
I recently had the pleasure to do some backpacking on the Western Uplands trail in Algonquin Provincial Park. The terrain was relatively easy, so even though we were on foot, we managed to cover a lot of distance each day. Approximately 50km total to be exact. The trail was mainly woodland, which wasn’t very inspiring for snapping photos. When we reached each camp it was a different story! The way the sun hit the water was stunning, and the sound of the loons put a smile on my face. All in all it was a fantastic time, but if I were to do it again I would definitely be travelling with a canoe!
