2018 Wrap Up
2018 was a whirlwind of a year, with so many extreme ups and downs. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time outdoors, capturing the beautiful landscapes, and sharing some special moments with old and new friends alike.
I got to see some of Canada’s amazing landscape throughout the year. It started with the beauty of the frozen great lakes in January. What an under appreciated sight! After the thaw I made my way to the almost unbelievable Bruce Peninsula for climbing and camping along the Georgian Bay. It’s turquoise waters and amazing forests always leave me thinking I’m some far from home. The skies here are also incredibly clear allowing for views of the Milky Way!
I was also lucky enough to run away to BC for some time in the summer. Spending most of my time climbing, hiking, and playing in and around Squamish.
This year allowed me to witnessed one of the better years for fall colours in Ontario! I and even chased some waterfalls among the beautiful golds and auburns.
My battle with Ulcerative Colitis went from completely out of control to nearly in remission. My mass fluctuated from a small 72kg to a bloated 88kg. I’ve now settled in at a healthy weight that I’m content with, and feel strong. For information about Ulcerative Colitis follow this link.
So 2018 was pretty great, but here’s to an even better 2019!
Below is a chronological collection of some of my favourite photos I made in 2018.
